Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting it and have only played an hour or so, but I like it. Yeah, runs a little hot, but so far so good. can you switch back and forth between pc and deck? using same save file. If you've played more than 2 hrs you can't refund. If a game is making you angry you got issues. Try lowering the diffuculty. #5. GobboKirk Nov 16, 2019 @ 7:10am. I've actually heard more people struggling with the Proton version than the Origin version, Jedi Fallen Order was famously playable on Linux on day 1 (or maybe 2), and back then it was only available on Origin, it wouldn't come to Steam for like a year (when EA brought their games back to Steam). And it's Jedi Fallen Order which syncs with EA. I guess your original post confused me but I understand now. Tired Monday brain. If you're having issues specifically while using a VPN I'd try another VPN location first, it could be that it's being blocked by the EA app if the location is flagged as strange. Click on the cog. In the menu that pops up, go to 'Properties' then in the next menu go to 'Compatibility' on the left. On the right, tick the little box that says 'Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool'. Then click on the long box below it and you'll get a list of Proton versions. I have tried rebooting the Steam Deck, verified the game files through the Deck, I am connected to the Wifi, not in Offline Mode, etc. I played the game yesterday, closed the game down and put the Deck in sleep mode, and then first thing I have done on it today is try to play Jedi Fallen Order again, and this problem is happening. Steam Support Home > Games and Applications > STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Orderâ„¢ Sign in to your Steam account to review purchases, account status, and get personalized help. isdone.dll is tied to memory/ram issues in Windows. This might mean, especially loading it onto a steam deck, you might be running out of memory for that particular installer. I don't usually recommend Fitgirl's repacks, especially for linux, but her installer has an option to limit ram, which might help in this situation. EU STEAM CD KEY: Requires an EUROPEAN IP address or you must activate it with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) in order to play Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Might have languages restrictions or language packs. Read the description on the store game page to know if the EU IP is only needed for activation or for playing also (maybe on EU Servers). If you want to fully avoid the EA app and Origin, but still keep the steam overlay do the following. 1. Uninstall EA APP, or don't install it in the first place. 2. Add the path below to the launch options. 3. When you launch the game, simply click no at the prompt. 4. Game launches and works fine. qtrO.
